DO NOT USE THIS AGENCY OR THIS COMPANY. I had three policies with this company- my car, house and motorcycle. The first problem was partially my fault. I had autopay with them but when I changed banks I forgot to notify them. The first I knew there was a problem was when I received a letter telling me that my policy had been canceled 4 days previously and that there would be a hefty fee to reinstate it. A phone call informing me there was a problem before they cancelled my policy would have been appreciated. The big problem is I bought a new motorcycle and added it to the policy. Pending the sale of my old bike I had both on the policy. When I sold my old bike I took it off he policy and was told by Calder that the unused premiums would be a credit on my next bill. When it arrived without the credit I assumed it was an honest mistake. I called Calder and was told hey would send me a corrected bill including the credit. They then called me back and said they were just keeping the money since I cancelled the policy with in 2 months of it's renewal. I tried writing the company itself at the address on their webpage and they replied that they had a "strict rule" about keeping the unused premiums even if the customer no longer owned the vehicle.
