Terrible they take forever and I never got notified and they closed the case. As other person stated employees didn't seem to have a clue.

The BBB is a lesser form of Yelp. They do help people reconcile some issues with businesses, but they dont consider facts when people post reviews on their website or deal with disputes through them. They only consider that a consumer is unhappy, whether its reasonable or not and give them advice on how to hurt the business if they do not want to concede to them through the BBB. Combine that with half wit employees and you've got yourself a bad combo.

this bbb, sham as former la bbb shut down by federal cbbb on ethics issues, violates neutrality, in conflict of interests stands with businesses it rates yet seeks funds from : lies on a would be 1 year file limit whereas it is 3 years, withdraws claims on lobbying, no accountability on rates, A + with evidence of delusive sale

I notified the BBB that a company that they list as A+ and accredited does not have a state license. The BBB doesn't care if a company is licensed to conduct business or not. As long as they get their $500 per year they will list anyone "accredited". They are putting the consumer at risk by listing Smart Shield Systems as "accredited" with an A+ rating. BBB is a huge scam.
