This location is where most borough vehicles are parked. The Borough offices are located just down the street on Pinewald Road. Just a few hundred feet further down from there is the compost & recycling center. Hours are posted, proof of residency required, and no commercial vehicles permitted. Upon entering a resident provides ID. Items are checked and you will be directed where to go. Then you pull your car up to each designated area. Employees are not required to assist or lift your trash, although many times they have assisted me.First is a garbage truck for household trash (pretty much anything that doesn't fall into recycling categories.)Pull forward and around to dumpsters that are clearly marked (glass, plastic, cardboard, lumber, etc.). There is a separate shed for electronics.
