The staff here are discouraging to come and visit especially when you have young children. I bring my kids here to get books and there’s a play area right under the stairs. Why would you place one here if you don’t want the children to make noise to play? Tried to come to print for my job and i only had my daughters card in me and the lady was very rude.

This library is a haven for the drunks, homeless and other Blue Island riff-raff. If you have no alternative than it serves its purpose as a library. Otherwise if you don't need to go, AVOID! Best library is the Alsip Library. The place is like a palace.

In the past I have always enjoyed my experience at this library as it is closest to my home. That all changed 27 Apr 2019 when the African American girl who is feature in the photo with glasses holding the library card waited on me. She was rude and not helpful at all. Her nasty attitude and unprofessional behavior left me disturbed. I had questions which she made no effort to answer or seek help from other staff, she behaved as if I the patron was bothering her. If she doesn’t like her position or people than this is certainly not the place for her to be. I will never allow this ill-mannered girl to wait on me ever again. If she is the only one there then I will use self check-out.

Nice library but they only have one stall per bathroom and NONE for the disabled. They really need to work on that, it's the 21st century.

Staff has become rude in the last few years. Also, they stopped opening on Sundays during the school months.
