Overall Feedback:
We wound up with a nice looking website, but it has issues and Brand Labs refuses to stand behind their work. Since we didn't catch these issues ( ugly navagition buttons that didn't work with the rest of the design, broken search, and other small issues ) immediately they now refuse to fix it. Instead, they are offering to research the issues for $300 and then charge us $150 hourly from there. Our website launch was a nightmare as well. The website was not functioning most of the day and we lost many sales. This was a very stressful day. They didn't have the redirects taken care of either so we had a lot of broken links in google on launch day. Most web designers seem to be able to get a functioning website built in a sandbox - these guys didn't do that and it caused a lot of issues. A lot of the work is outsourced overseas too. That was never mentioned until we got alerts that a foreign IP address was logging into our website. Maybe not a big issue, but it should be mentioned. If you are going to work with them, I recommend getting very detailed in the initial agreement. I would also recommend going over things extremely carefully and thoroughly before you give approval, because once you give approval they will not make changes without charging you - even if it is issues they should have caught as well. I know I wont be working with them again.
