I lived here for nearly three years and was happy. It's a safe place to live! The area where I lived was surrounded by huge trees and it's nice in the summer. It's also very quiet (no drama!). My apartment was spacious (much larger than the newer places on the market now) and affordable. Utilities were reasonable and my neighbors were all very nice people. Yes, it's an older complex and decent, at first. However, the kicker is when you try to leave. Good luck getting any of your many deposits back. I'm an older widow raising my granddaughter. I physically did the best I could with basically no help moving out in the middle of July. Because of my health I had to leave a FEW small things behind. I figured they would just deduct a small amount from my deposits. Fair. Ha! They never did a walk through with me. Now I know why. After it was all said and done they said I owed them $272 and then turned it over to a collection company. When I moved in, the entire floor was covered in dying_dead roaches, and that problem never entirely went away. They charge for monthly pest control but rarely made an appearance. Renewed twice, carpet paint never improved. Oh they sent in a carpet cleaning service that was a joke. i was so dissappointed in the way I was treated when I left. I had perfect rental history with them. The smiles apparently were fake.Fortunately I was able to get a much NICER updated place, even though BW screwed me financially. Oh i'll pay their "bill" to protect my credit but will never recommend this company to anyone.
