Not up to normal conditions at all. Not sure if they aren't spending the money needed to keep it nice or if the grounds crew has changed, but this place is no where close to the condition it use to be in. When people are driving from the Quad Cities out there, they expect a decent golf course. that is not the case right now. Our group won't be going back until things improve.

We have played a lot of golf courses in Whiteside,Lee,and Bureau counties, but the gem of golf courses is Byron Hills located just outside Port Byron, Illinois. This course is well kept and managed. It by far is one of the most challenging courses in the area. The fairways and greens are in excellent condition, and it makes play more enjoyable. Very highly recommend making the trip to play here.

We live in Dixon but have found that it is well worth the drive down 88 to play this course. Love playing this track. It's a challenging course and a well maintained course. We had a wonderful time and have come back several times.
