I feel very fortunate that our community has this resource available to them!! My hope is that we will one day live in an environment that the Family Crisis Center will no longer be needed to shelter individuals and families from domestic violence and sexual assault.

Staff is very knowledgeable. They took time to provide me information and services, even though I am a secondary victim.

Was told my therapy dog would be allowed to stay with me. Next morning they tell me they just changed their policy and only allow service animals for physical disabilities not emotional ones. They then gave me 24 hours to leave.

Great place to stay under the circumstances

Stayed at this place 2 times, the first time I stayed it was great up to the point where I was unable to retrieve my clothing for a week so they decided to donate it, and they told me they were able to keep it for a month. The second time I stayed I got stuck in a snow storm I called in to let them know I was unable to make it back and I was assured everything was ok, upon my arrival back they had most of my things packed ( and what I mean by most packed, it did not include my personal food purchases) and told me I had to leave. And in the process of it all they told me, we turn people down all the time! One of the advocates told me, your not in an abuse state, your just homeless, even though I had paperwork proving my abused state. I got a job while there and did all requirements as requested and beyond that, but I guess you got to be lazy and have nothing to flourish in this establishment

Most of the staff are fake. They act so helpful, But not so much. Just a few staff are truly helpful and truly caring.. It's great if you need a safe place to go for a short time but you gotta do all the work. They don't help at all when it comes to getting a place. And after leaving the shelter, they petty much offer nothing as far as help...
