I like to see results of PGA tournaments, presently the BMW Championship is going on and there is nothing in the newspaper. The Northern Trust was held in Aug, nothing in newspaper. These are tournaments that lead up to the tour championship- FEDEX Cup. You were covering them in the past, what happened.

The newspaper business these days is a dog eat dog business with little profit and much strife. That said, the Daily Republic does a very good job reporting local stories and events--sometimes as they are in progress. They are really the only newspaper in Solano County and their format and layout in both print and online editions is excellent. The reporters know me and hate me, but hey, I'm willing to recognize their accomplishments.
