I can’t say enough good things about the Lexington Public Library. I have always found the staff extremely courteous and helpful. Whenever I have sought a book or DVD they didn’t have, they quickly located it in another system and had it sent here. The selection is impressive, and they have so much more than books. The programming lately has been wide-ranging and interesting. I highly recommend usage of this branch.

They accused my 3year old and my 8year old and my 9 year old of taking stickers off books and putting them on other books to take home they basically called my children some thieves.. Video will show they wasn't all my children could say mommy we aint take them accused kids in they face of doing something they aint do those comments should have been kept by themselves i will never show my face in that libary again..... The davidson county public library in lexington has convenient parking & hours. They have lots to offer other than just checking out books for free. You can also check out movies (some new releases), up to date magazines, news papers, government documents, free tax prep, internet, printing services, & more. It is a great community service/ offer.

Went to look for whole book series (left behind >the kids<) and found the whole set, 1-20 :) smells great also

Great staff except for the lady at the reference desk ..I understand she was informing me on something I was doing wrong but it's a way ,manner,and tone you speak to someone especially on there first visit. Won't be back unless necessary
