I couldn't have asked for a better hospital, nursing staff, knowledgeable doctors, oncology, oncology staff.I was diagnosed with lung cancer at the Salt Lake City Veterans Hospital. I would have had to stay there for five weeks to go through radiation and chemo therapy. I could not afford to stay there 5 weeks so I ask about the Veterans choice program and if I could be transfered to Dixie Regional Hospital. Reason being I live 25 miles away from Dixie Regional Hospital and almost 300 miles from Salt Lake City Veterans Hospital. Within a days time I was approved to go to Dixie Regional Hospital. (Thank you President Trump) that was at the beginning of the year, currently I am in a rehab\Care center hoping To go home soon. The people I met at D.R Hospital are some of the kindest I've ever met, if they didn't know about something I would ask about they would find out. I cannot praise the hospital or staff enough. And their cafeteria has some of the best food available especially for a hospital.
