Signs, Printing and - what I needed - Woodwork!How often does one wind up needing to have 1" planed off of a 5" x 9" x 8' pine beam? See Bill at Dovetail Designs in Damascus, MD if you do. They also print whatever needs to be printed, from business cards to invitations to vehicle wraps, and make signs out of anything from corrugated Gatorboard to wood and metal.We're replacing a former hideously-textured fireplace mantle with a respectable one. The 8' pine mantle we bought from a fellow from his mom's 100-year-old house was perfect except for a big crack that had developed on the underside from, I'm guessing, decades of fires. Bill looked at it, I left it with him, and picked it up several days later. The planing job was perfect. Now it's time to stain it and find someone to mount it on corbels on the brick chase.
