It have rooms for quiet study like other libraries, there is literary much breathing room. The staff is very helpful. If you have an Apple computer large power adapter. It might not fit in the outlet consoles at the enterance level tables.

I used to love this library so much, it welcomed me when I first moved to east Islip, have so many memories here. Now? It just sucks, staff at reference desk is rude, place is run down, not a welcoming environment, homeless people running rampant throughout. Tear it down and make an apartment complex. Would be doing. this whole town a service. 5 stars.

Great library. Wifi, DVDs, magazines- and they have books. Actual books. Staff are helpful and nice. Stand under the "cone of power" near the reference desk and soak in the energy flowing from the vaulted ceiling.
