I was a State Farm customer for several years, almost 10 years if not more. Never met the agent directly, always worked with her peons. Over the course of my coverage my rates kept increasing yet I always maintained a clean driving record. Bought a house and watched my yearly premiums increase over time. Met with a roofing company and they recommended I get an adjuster out due to the roof and other damage caused. Claim was promptly denied, so I replaced the roof out of pocket. Well...$10,000 later they refuse to renew my coverage. Went to a competitor and immediately saved $300 a year with better overall coverage. I won't be going back to State Farm anytime in the foreseeable future.
