Stayed four nights Aug. 20-23 at Cedar Lodge while visiting my son. Great facility, comfortable, free laundry for guests, and right in the middle of everything.

I was very disappointed at the overall appearance of the base. The base looks so run down. Grass and weeds were growing in all the sidewalk cracks and some parking lots were covered in weeds and looked deserted. We stayed at the famcamp. It's truly not worth $28 per night, especially not compared to other famcamps. Too many campers with 3+ dogs too.

I don't miss the winters, but the summers there are amazing! While you're in Rapid City, be sure to hit up Colonial House for a slice of pie or a cinnamon roll.

Stayed at Fam Camp Apr 5th to 14th, FANTASTIC facility and staff. Steve and staff were very friendly. Steve set up lodging rooms for us and others when just before blizzard started. Our camper was unusable after pulling in all slides so (wet heavy 12"+ snow)so the room was a big relief.Once the storm was over, Steve was out to make sure the 30+ inch drifts in the campground were cleared. Huge KUDOs to this staff and facility.John K MSgt USAF Ret
