Feedback:
We have a rental property. Epcor water turned off the water because no one was present. They read an outside meter and don't provide a time for reading the meter. The, informed us it would be a week before they could turn it back on. I learned one year later with new renter they would do the same if we don't sign up with landlord ownership form. First time I ever heard that!
Feedback:
If you pay your water bill on time and you expect to have water with epcor, well you just got the small end of the stick. looks like if you pay your water bill on time, they don't even care they come over and shut your water off for no freaking reason. Genius, I wouldn't be surprised if lawsuit sprouts up soon.
Feedback:
If you wanna get screwed, just move to any city serviced by Epcor. I have lived in Phoenix and Glendale my entire life, and just recently moved to Sun City after my divorce. Just to give a quick background too, my previous homes have had lawns, and pools, which I don't have here. I also went from multi family homes to this home in which it's just myself and two very young children. I just received my first water bill....It is THREE times what it was with the city of Phoenix. And that is not an exaggeration. I did my homework too, before I moved in. I googled them, pulled up their website, found their water rates… Nothing seemed out of the ordinary. They show their average water consumption rates, so it appears that your bill will be normal in comparison with a city water bill. Of course what they don't post on their website that you'll be paying just under $100 for sewer, along with what they're charging for water. My recommendation to anyone reading this would be to make sure you don't move to a city that has private water, unless you're prepared to have your water cost the same as your electric bill.
