I have been using E&R Services since 2008 to clean gutters, power wash siding, and clean windows. They cleaned my gutters today and quoted $95 on the phone when we scheduled the appointment. When it came time for payment after the job was complete, the service man said it was $125. I told him I agreed to pay $95 and $125 was a 32% rate increase. He then wrote the invoice for $95, but added this note "this gutter should be $150." I asked why is it now $150 when you said $125? He said it should be $150, but I was giving you a $25 discount. You should be happy you've been paying $95 all of these years. That means they have increased their price 58% since last year. I had no problem paying a reasonable price increase as long as it was communicated when the job was scheduled. So very unprofessional.
