My children and I needed a place to stay so I could get resources and legal help. We were turned away because of who my husband , at the time, was. I hope this never happens to anyone else again. That should never be a reason at all. I ended up having to go somewhere else out of state. Spending expense money I did not even have. Victims need help regardless of who their spouse is.
