Feedback:
Have a great team from managment to the board of directors.
Feedback:
It doesn't matter how much experience or how many skills you have for the job you're applying for; if you look like you could be over 30 or 40 years of age, you won't get a job here.
Feedback:
They don't like older workers here. If you look older than your supervisor, the company will try to push you out the door. The company has been sued over this game, but they still treat older workers like crap.
Feedback:
Great rates and have great customer service
Feedback:
I was in an accident with a guy that was insured with Farm Bureau. I went out to the Farm Bureau Claims Center and was told that my car would be totaled, even though only the back door was damaged. (The guy went though a stop sign and t-boned me.) Then Farm Bureau made me an offer of only $7500 for my car. My car is a 2012 Chevy Impala and the Blue Book value is $14,993 if the car is in very good condition. Since I thought I should at least get $10,000 for my car, I asked why the offer was so low. The claims adjuster stated I was partially at fault for the accident. When I reminded the adjuster that their insured ran through a stop sign, he said that I was considered partially at fault for being there and I could have traveled on a different route to avoid the accident. He also said I could take their offer or leave it. Since my car was still drivable and I wasn't going to accept half value for my 2012 car, I left it and told the adjuster I was contacting my lawyer. He replied he's heard that threat before and good luck, because Farm Bureau fights lawsuits all of the time.
Feedback:
Farm Bureau Insurance, based in West Des Moines, used to insure my home. Even though the only claim I had on my home was paid by my neighbor's insurance company (it was a tree branch from my neighbor's tree that fell on my house during a storm), Farm Bureau cancelled my homeowners insurance because I now lived in a "high risk area". Every "area" has trees and thunderstorms, so why did my "area" suddenly become high risk after a thunderstorm?
