(Translated by Google) On three occasions I stayed at this institution thanks to the US embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina and my agency that supported my departure to the GCMC. The first arrival was the experience that every time I went to the GCMC, I made a wide smile on my face. All the checks and tweets that I needed to go through in order to access the center at all had aroused some kind of doubt in me. I wondered if somebody might not want me there, as any ordinary man is not accustomed to such studio programs. After completing the first study in the GCMC, I realized what was necessary and what professional and personal characteristics were sought from the academic community in the GCMC for participation in their programs. First of all, I met people from more than 40 countries and from all continents. People from my industry and similar industries, people who from other perspectives experience the security challenges I personally face daily in my work. Such acquaintances and discussions with the professional guidance of the GCMC academic community helped to broaden aspects, I see the current local and world issues that I have been interested in coming to GCMC from other perspectives and especially on which I will never be able to indulge in GCMC (and all others who supported my stay in the GCMC) have gained experience in solving problems with a different approach compared to the experience I had before.In addition to the professional training that I came to GCMC, I have connected myself with people from various countries, which I later used in my work in order to increase the safety of my country's citizens as well as all other citizens living in Europe. I had the opportunity and the honor to meet some people who, unfortunately, are no longer among us, listen to their lectures, questions and answers, as well as the numerous debates they have led. Some of them were members of the GCMC academic community, and some students like me.Certainly not to forget to thank and GCMC in the choice of excellent guest lecturers, from various countries who have shared their experiences and some methods and approaches to solving problems from various fields.Permanently employed members of the academic community GCMC do not have to praise because they are not among the best in their branches would not be where they are.More about the hosts; accommodation, food, hygiene, security for every compliment. I would like to emphasize the constant care of the hosts about how satisfied we are with the lecturers, etc. That was the most pleasant surprise to me while I was in GCMC.Optional excursions were more than an instructive and a great experience for me. Prvi dolazak je bio doživljaj koji mi je svaki naredni put kada sam išao u GCMC izmamio široki osmijeh na lice. Sve provjere i tetsiranje koje je bilo neophodno da prođem da bi uopće mogao pristupiti ovom centru su budile nekakve sumnje u meni. Pitao sam se da li možda neko ne želi mene tamo kao i svaki obični čovjek ne naviknut na ovakve programe studija. Po završetki prvog studija u GCMC shvatio sam šta je sve neophodno i koje profesionalne i osobne karakteristike se traže od akademske zajednice u GCMC za učešće u njihovim programima.Tu sam prije svega upoznao ljude iz više od 40 zemalja i sa svih kontinenata. Ljude iz moje branše kao i sličnih branši, ljude koji iz drugih perspektiva doživljavaju sigurnosne izazove sa kojima se ja lično svakodnevno u svom poslu susrećem. Takva poznanstva i diskusije uz profesionalno vođenje od strane akademske zajednice GCMC je pomoglo da proširim vidike, sagledam aktualnu lokalnu i svjetsku problematiku koja je meni bila interesni cilj za dolazak u GCMC iz drugih perspektiva a posebno na čemu se nikada neću moći odužiti GCMC (i svima drugima koji su podržali moj boravak u GCMC) su stečena iskustva u rješavanju problema sa drugačijim pristupom u odnosu na ono iskustvo koje sam do tada imao.Pored profesionalnog usavršavanja zbog kojeg sam i došao u GCMC tu sam se povezao sa ljudima iz raznih zemalja što sam kasnije iskoristio u svom radu u cilju povećanja sigurnosti građana moje zemlje kao i svih ostalih građana koji žive u Evropi. Imao sam priliku i čast upoznati neke ljude koji nažalost nisu više među nama, slušati njihova predavanja, pitanja i odgovore kao i brojne debate koje su oni vodili. Neki od njih su bilo članovi akademske zajednice GCMC a neki studenti kao i ja. Svakako da ne zaboravim se zahvaliti i GCMC na izboru odličnih predavača gostiju, iz raznih zemalja koji su prenijeli svoja iskustva a neki i metode i pristupe rješavanju problema iz raznih oblasti.Stalno uposlene članove akademske zajednice GCMC nema potrebe hvaliti jer da nisu među najboljima u svojim branšama nebi bili tu gdje jesu.Još malo o domaćinima; smještaj, hrana, higijena, sigurnost za svaku pohvalu. Posebno bih istakao konstantnu brigu domaćina o tome koliko smo mi gosti zadovoljni sa predavačima smještajem itd. To mi je bilo najugodnije iznenađenje dok sam boravio u GCMC. Fakultativni izleti su bili i više nego poučni i jedno veliko iskustvo za mene.Mogao bih pisati još desetine rečenica hvale za ovu ustanovu i ne bih mogao sve izreći koliko me je dojmio boravak tu.Sam grad GarmischPartenkirchen je već priča za sebe (naravno pozitivna) Zugspitze, Eibsee i sve drugo sto se mora obići za vrijeme boravka u GCMC.
