Two salespeople showed up at our store trying to sell us a 1-year contract for $100 a month. The contract was that we pay the monthly amount and provide them with our customer information, and in return, they would provide free customized books for our customers. They were extremely pushy and began filling out the contract without our permission and with their backs turned so we could not see what we were writing. They tried to pressure us into making an immediate decision because they were leaving town. They had no door-to-door salesman license, or any license for that matter. They also said that they were endorsed by our local chamber of commerce & tourism, as well as the local funeral home, and named specific names of reputable business people who supposedly endorsed them. That was a lie. We contacted these people and they had no idea that that they were being used as a reference. multiple businesses in our community have gone to police and reported this business, and the sub-business "Family Business Services inc." Our local chamber of commerce has sent letters to many local businesses warning them of these people and this company.
