We took a kayak trip this week on the sound side to the south of Stone Harbor. The trip launched from the docks at Dad's Rentals down toward the Wildwood end of the island. Our group took 3 big kayaks - A dad and his 6 year old son, me and my 5 year old daughter and our wives and a 4 year old. Our guide, Jason, was patient and knowledgeable. He made sure everyone was comfortable, set the appropriate pace and made a point of showing the kids some fun wildlife. We stopped out on a sandbar and hunted for shells, found a horseshoe crab and enjoyed the views.A really nice morning trip.
