Great helpful staff. Also you can request any title within the BCLS system and if it is available, you'll get it within 2 days. Also they have the newest movies on DVD/ Blue Ray and many e-services.

Today was my first time to the Lake Jackson library. The staff are so nice and welcoming. I notice how accommodating they were to the patrons, myself included. The atmosphere is very relaxed and calm. While it is library and it is supposed to be quiet, it is not the oppressive quiet I've experienced in other libraries. The library in itself is clean and very orderly. All of the book areas are spaced appropriately with no clutter. The authors I was interested in were easy to locate. My favorite aspect of this library is the section of New books up front and not hidden where people would not see them. I immediately noticed two of my favorite authors in the case along with others I have been I interested in reading. The titles are of varying genres so one would not be disappointed. Also, another aspect of this library which I liked is that you can bring your gently used or new books you no longer want or have read and they will accept them no hassle or questions. I saw a patron do this. It's a great place to just relax and read one of their books or your own because they have plenty of seating too and I got a new library card while here.

Staff was very helpful and nice. However, I had to print 3 pages from the computer. The minimum is 2$. I used my card to pay it. Well today i got charged 15 more $ by the machine vendor, coin copier! ? so in total i paid 17$ for 3 black and white pages bc i used my card. Ill be disputing this charge.

Love visiting the lake jackson library. They have great events for children and an awesome selection of books and movies for young and old.
