Our Experience at Manker Campground was overall good. We had grabbed a spot on a Thursday for the weekend because by friday there are no spots available it is a first come first serve basis. The 1st time we went we picked spot #8. We didn't like that spot much because we do have a little one & she likes to run around & the ground area wasn't that flat! The 2nd time we stayed we had stayed in spot #11 we thought this spot was going to be great they had plenty of trees to hang up our hammock but of course not great for our little one again & the neighbors that decided to stay next to us were up all night their music didn't shut off until 230am than they were howling like wolves like no one else was on the camp ground & than they had the nerve to project their Sexual relations very loudly & our daughter woke up & cried alittle than their sounds kept getting louder & louder. So our last spot was #14 we really enjoyed this spot it was a little more private we weren't in the middle of the campground. We were alittle more away from the bathrooms but thats ok. The only problem with #14 is that it has 2 sites to camp at like its for a group but only 1 parking spot!!! Luckily we arrived 1st than of course a HUGE!!!!!!! family decided to pick the spot next to us & the literally pitched their tent 5 feet away from ours like there wasn't any other spot to put it. So we kindly asked them to move it & they made a big deal out of it. But the overall experience was great I'm giving a 4star rating because of the fact that the bathrooms were smelly & dirty but what more can you expect being out in the wilderness at least there were bathrooms! Thank you Manker Campground for giving me a family a experience, we will of course continue to come here until we find the perfect spot were we aren't too close to neighbors. Pricing is really affordable! You can also day park here for $5 I believe.
