STAY AWAY!!! Mason Properties is a scam. They nickel and dime your security deposit away. They will charge you for cleaning and replacing things even if you cleaned and replaced them yourself. I spent 2 days cleaning the apartment and gave it back to them better than they gave it to me and they still took over $500 of my security deposit. They charged me for chipped paint that was chipped when I moved in, extra carpet cleaning (that I mentioned on my move in paperwork) light bulbs (I had a work order in for them), a dirty toilet paper holder etc. Just random miscellaneous charges to take your money. I'm very disappointed in them. I thought this was an honest company. I guess they're slumlords like the rest of the property owners in Dekalb.
