Feedback:
The library staff were warm and helpful. I highly recommend the facility especially if you have little ones. They have a whole area just for them with games, computers and a wonderful book selection.
Feedback:
The staff is very helpful and accommodating. They have all sorts of people and attitudes they deal with on a daily basis. The service I received at the end of the day was no different than approaching them early in the day. I appreciate the friendly customer service and the attentiveness shown in assisting me with my questions and needs.
Feedback:
They charge you to use the computer and you still have to pay for the papers you print out. I paid them and didn’t even use the computer I walked right out I wasn’t even there 5 mins. The only good thing about this place is the Kiddieland sign outside.
Feedback:
The parking lot has the old trademark Kiddie Land amusement park sign nailed to the library's building. I only noticed that when I drove around the building after we left the library. I also failed to notice Kiddie Land paraphernalia inside. For some reason, I thought this library didn't have a parking lot; I was fortunate to park by a church near the library. Turns out the side doors of the library is closed and entry is on the main doors. Upon entry, there's no one to greet us and felt a cold presence amongst the employees. Could be that it was a Saturday and felt like they didn't feel like working today? That made me uncomfortable. Oh well.Because of that, 1 star since I was unaware of Kiddie Land paraphernalia in a particular room of the library. My daughter and I proceeded to the children's section. The AWE computer game wasn't ready and had to wait for the password. For a Melrose Park resident, patrons can play leap frog tablets. We aren't town residents so I felt that place needs to update on noncomputer activities. While my daughter was busy on the computer, I noticed a lounging area for teenagers. Pretty cool concept and I wonder if teenagers utilize this area for educational growth or just to kill time to charge cellphones.
Feedback:
This library really helped me everything was perfect, the only problem I have is that for a library people are talking inside, I study in this library for my exam preparation. But there is this people who work here who always talk with some of the people they know who come in, and for a library I know there is nothing wrong in talking saying Hi’s and Hello but for them to talk so long and are quite loud since everybody here is quiet. That’s very distracting and that’s no place for a library to catch up with somebody. I don’t know they are not so strict about the NOISE!
Feedback:
There is a person there named Veronica. She stated she has been there for 10 years when asked a question. She clearly forgot the importance of customer service to their own town people who pay their home taxes to fund their job too. I rarely walk into this library for that reason. Only go there for truly fast run in. My kids love the ladies in the youth and kids area.
Feedback:
I would like to choose 0 stars. The restrooms are closed/not for use. Some kinda maintainance work going and it is disturbing.
Feedback:
Great library Barbara, Cindy, and that young lady with the glasses in the tech center rock!
Feedback:
