Totally incompetent. Purchased a vehicle, gave a bill of sale and seller gave lady registration. Seller accidently gave notary title to completely different vehicle. Never checked title against Bill of sale or registration. Yet she certified and notarized and took $300 of my money. Told me it wasn't her problem. I'm out $300 and my vehicle purchase. Why be a notary if you can't be bothered to read documents before notarizing them? Reaching out to the state to see what can be done at this point.
