I have been with North State for about 8 years now. I have only had a small number of problems (hum on phone line, slowed internet speed). Of the few times I called about a problem, it was addressed and either corrected immediately or scheduled for a correction within a day or two. I have found their phone support and customer service to be excellent at all times. After trying to deal with companies like AT&T, North State is a blessing to work with. I have also found their technical line employees to be great. Specifically, Eric has helped me on several occasions when I had some router issues and needed someone to correct it from their side. Once again, it is great to have a company that looks after its customers so well. Thank you North State.

I called Northstate's online new customer number and the guy was incredibly rude. But when I called this office directly, I got someone much more helpful (though I did have to wait on hold for several minutes). Top marks for friendly service from Rudy. But they were not able to offer anything competitive with Spectrum, which disappointed me. You can't save any money monthly by having your own modem/router. I do appreciate that they did not charge for installation, but they wanted to charge me an extra fee just so they could be able to remote into my system if they need to troubleshoot. Seriously? I have to pay extra for tech support of their own equipment? I'll pass.

I can't even believe that I am writing a POSITIVE review for a cable and internet service. I've had the worst customer service experiences with AT&T, Spectrum, and Direct TV - we've been through them all. We were notified that NorthState was now available in our neighborhood and after reviewing their awesome prices decided to give them a try. Their customer service has been AMAZING. When you call to contact them, it's a local number and you get through immediately.. no waiting for 30min-1hr just to speak to someone who wants to upsale you on everything and not listen to you. Their representatives are so personable, and helpful. On the downside we are having to relocate for a job so we are so disappointed we won't be able to use them anymore BUT they also didn't require a cancellation fee. This business is great and I highly recommend them, we never had any complaints with service or customer service.

Our phone service is okay most of the time, but Internet us pathetically unreliable. Usually reset it myself without calling because they tell me to reset it anyway. It has to be reset several times a week, sometimes multiple times a day. I'm looking into other options.

We have NorthState fiber. They have always been courteous on the phone, the installation was challenging but the crew did a great job of overcoming the obstacles, and the service has never gone out (that I know of). Any issues with internet service have been with our own router, not with NorthState. WAY WAY WAY better than Time Warner in all respects.
