Client Review on Northwest Custom Apparel
Feedback:
We are a distributor and contracted with Northwest Custom Apparel to print 200 t-shirts for us on their Kornit DTG printer. We paid for and provided the blank shirts for them to print, as is customary in our industry. After printing what we thought was a few shirts. The sales person contacted us and said that they were not printing well and asked if we wanted them to continue and they sent us photos. We said no and asked for the shirts back. At this point we found out that they printed 86 of the 200 shirts. Not only was the print terrible but they printed the wrong art on it. They printed our design from last year instead of this year. They also failed to send a proof before printing even though we requested one. When we asked them to replace the shirts they ruined, they said no because we provide 50/50 shirts instead of 100% cotton. They never told us it needed to be cotton and they did not notify us after they received the shirts that there could be a problem. In addition, the problems with print do not just involve it being light from being on 50/50 but the fact that the design is warped which has nothing to do with the shirt fabric and that they ALSO printed the wrong design. The owner said he would not reimburse us for the shirts because we should not have sent 50/50 shirts even though no one told us this or made an effort to communicate this after getting them. I brought up the fact that they printed the wrong design and he said I am not going to discuss that and I am not refunding you for your shirts and if you don't like it I will charge you $450 for the printing as well. This is outrageous. His staff made an error. In our industry there is a 2% misprint allowance. His misprints far exceed this. He owes us the cost of the blank shirts or to replace the blank shirts.
