I ordered 500 small pamphlets that folded down to the size of a business card printed by PIP. Everything seemed great at first. Their rep seemed knowledgeable and helpful. I emphasized we needed the pamphlets machine folded as they were printed. She told me the prints would be scored and folded and both of those services were line items in the estimate she provided. A colleague of mine went to pick the order up and they hadn't been folded. The employee then lied to my colleague stating that she and I had never discussed folding. Another employee said it would break their machine to fold our prints. I called the original employee and said their must have been some kind of misunderstanding and she pretended that we had never discussed folding. It was outrageous considering she put the word "folded" in the file name of the estimate which also contained the folding service. Instead of owning up to it she interrupted me and asked for my colleague to return the prints so she could hand fold them where they had been scored. I accepted because we are a small nonprofit and had a tight deadline but we will never do business with PIP again. It was classic bait and switch.
