I have used this place a lot to mail packages, and I’m always surprised at how busy it is. That said, there is NEVER more than one person working the counter, despite the two registers for customer service. There could be a line practically to the door, and other employees will walk by the one person at the desk trying to help everyone. I’ve seen the office manager himself walk behind an employee helping a line of 7 customers, and continue to walk straight back into his office without a care in the world. It’s clear there are no customer service values whatsoever. Today I went in right before closing to pick up a package. The lady behind the counter sees me walk in the main lobby, but disappears into the back in the 3 seconds it took me to walk up to the counter. I then stand there several minutes wondering if she was just grabbing something because I know she saw me, we made eye contact. Nothing. I was finally forced to ring the customer service doorbell, to which I hear “Just a second” come from the back. Another few moments later she appears, same woman who clearly WATCHED ME WALK IN THE OFFICE. Could I have been checking my PO Box? Maybe. But I was also holding an orange package pick-up slip so she had to have known I needed her help. Just complete rudeness and a general lack of customer service skills, and I’ve worked customer service for over 20 years.

I ordered something online and shipping was going just fine until it got to this post office. It’s been at this location since February 2nd it’s now February 19th and still there! I contacted my seller who called this post office about the package and they told her it should have arrived by today but I still haven’t seen it and USPS tracking says that it is still at this location.

Don't go to this post office...go to chimacum. This is by far the worst post office I have ever been to. They are good with getting your mail into your PO box and such but they have the worst customer service I have ever experienced at any usps facility. It's not that they are incompetent, it's that the employees are extremely rude. I have been yelled at for asking if I could pick up my package since I received notification that UPS had dropped it off early that same morning. The customer service reps are always speaking down to people, especially elderly members of the community. Someone advised me not to get a po box here due to this problem, but out of convenience I disregarded the advice and went ahead anyways. BIG MISTAKE. I dread having to go in to pick anything up and can't wait until my po box term with them is over. Seriously...don't waste your time going there. It will ruin your day.
