The road in was a challenge but we had hired a car with high ground clearance on the recommendation of the website so had no issues. We elected to buy food from the Lodge and the service was excellent. The full day tour of the Battlefield sites was an absolute highlight and was excellent.

It's worth the rickety roads to get to this lovely lodge. There are just 5 well-equipped suites, each one private with beautiful views. Breakfast and dinner is made to order and exceeded expectations. Perfect place to stay to explore the battlefields area.
