No one in the store had heard of a pretty ubiquitous Islay Scotch, Caol Ila. After a few minutes of confusion I was told, "we're out". I picked an alternative and then I was upsold on a Nick Offerman scotch. The employee tapped the box and walked away, saying 'yeah, I just found out who he was today!" That tells me you know nothing about what's in the bottle and just wanted to move the new product. That'll be a pass, thanks anyways.I asked if they had mezcal, and another employee asked me 'whats that?' I explained, then went and found it myself. She came over and said 'yeah, it's right here' and pointed to the bottle next to the one I was already holding. Again, thanks anyways, I got it.Went looking for bitters, couldn't find those either, just "Manhattan mix". I went and paid and was told I couldn't use my credit card, it was debit or cash only for liquor because credit card fees were too high. I'm spending $140 in your store right now. This feels pretty petty at this point. Overall, not impressed.
