My favorite library!!! Nice place, everything is in the correct place, the environment here is so nice, the service is very good. Al the people who work here here are polite and kind. Good organization for every event, and here offers a lot of activities for all the ages. I found a good friends in my English class and my 2 teachers are so amazing. I wish I could find places like this in my country

This is a beautiful and wonderful public library with a fantastic children’s section where I bring my two children for various activities or just to play and read a book. :)

The only beef I have is one I addressed with them that went unanswered which is not acceptable as is the fact that the weekly newsletter emails contain information on special events for that CURRENT week, some of which happen to be on the same day as or the very day after I GET said email. This too is unacceptable as it is too short of notice for most people who might want to attend these events and would like between a week and a month ideally to plan. However, the collection is so diverse and so impressive, it's within walking distance of my house and I have enjoyed their Valentine blind date with a book read-a-thon very much the past couple of seasons. Pleased to have been chosen to win a hand knit scarf last winter after it drew to a close!

Libraries are no longer simply a lovely place to find a great book or music to listen to. At Simsbury Public Library you also visit a place to learn new languages, hear variety of speakers in various subjects, learn new computer skills, meet for a class, or use the amazing inter library loan system to borrow material from libraries across the state. The people at the reference desk, lending desk and children’s department are all very knowledgeable and extremely friendly; they will make every effort to help a patron find the resource that is being looked for. In the winter a warm place to sit or for moms to get together while children play in the children’s area downstairs.
