I've been a very happy customer of State Farm Insurance Company and have known Steve Shipman since 1991. Luckily, I haven't had to file very many claims, but when I have, Steve and State Farm took care of me.Last June, we had a terrible wind and hail storm that damaged the roof on my house. Talking to other home owners in the neighborhood who had insurance companies other than State Farm, were given the run around by their agents. That wasn't the case with State Farm. After the Claims Adjuster came out to view the damage, she shook my hand and told me that I was taken care of. I was able to select my own roofing company and now have a new roof on my house. And Steve was in contact with me every step of the way. What I thought would be a nightmare, turned out to be a great experience. Besides me and my wife driving, I also have two teenage drivers and a total of 4 vehicles. I was scared to death about how much my premiums would be. Steve and his staff worked out affordable plans that I could go with on auto insurance for all of our vehicles along with a piece of mind.I've shopped around and looked at other insurance companies. Some have lower premiums than State Farm, but will not stand by me when a disaster happens or if I or someone in my family is involved in an auto accident. So when you look at insurance companies, look at their track record and then look at State Farm.When you need to have your home and automobiles insured, it's good to know that a company like State Farm and an Agent like Steve Shipman will take care of you.
