Client Review on Stitches & Screens
Feedback:
First off, I didn't have much issue with the customer service, nevertheless I felt cheated. I asked for the price for 2 dozens t-shirts, I was told $230.00 but if I'd do 3 dozens it would only cost $270.00. I asked my wife to call around town and get a few estimates. Stitches and Screens and one other company had the best prices (btw they told my wife the same price they told me: 24 for $230 and 36 for $270). I know a good deal when I see one, so I said put me down for 3 dozens. After a couple of mock ups, I was ready to order, they printed me an invoice sheet that said $430.00 for 3 dozens I asked how come? They told me they had to add this fee, that fee....etc. I said you know what I can't afford this price at the moment, just make 18 t-shirts. They priced it at $238.00. I was not happy about that, but I was pressed for time so I went on with the transaction. My partner deposited $100.00, they sent him an email saying the balance is $170.00. When I went to pick the t-shirts up, the final bill read $180+. That wasn't the only shock, the quality of the prints was very poor, they looked like they've been worn and washed about a hundred time, they were dingy. The lady explained to me that they didn't use a base color under the gold one because apparently I was working with a low budget; really? I was given the regular price, then the boosted price and they still overcharged me for one color. They even even tried to charge me for their lack of attention to details. The one thing positive about that transaction was the turn around time. I guess you don't need a lot time to produce low quality work. All in all, I was very disappointed with the product. I don't like to write negative reviews about businesses because I am small business owner myself, but this was a terrible experience. Now, No one in my crew wants to wear the t-shirts for the convention that we are a part of, I'm stucked with 18 ugly t-shirts and I lost some capital. That's not fair!
