Moved to AZ in 1998, before for years Dave took great care of me and my hair before and after he opened CDHS. Was in WI for high school reunion and decided to make an appt for wash/style. My memories were true, everyone was genuine, friendly and welcoming. Loved the style and especially enjoyed reconnecting with Dave. Have found no as good here in AZ cut, style and perfect blond color. Next time back in West Bend will make another appt. Wish his beautiful and unique shop was in Scottsdale or East Valley.

Gave them a couple tries after my initial consultation to attempt to correct my color and I feel as if I wasn’t listened to still...not to mention my bangs were chopped horribly. I wanted a natural blend with blonde and brown and the stylist kept stating shadow root/ombré....wasn’t satisfied and unfortunately will not return or recommend.

My future daughter-in-law is new to the area and needed a salon that could do her hair and her bridesmaids hair for her wedding day. Unfortunately, I found Carpe Diem for her. It had good reviews. She went for the Bridal trial. She paid $105. Her hair ended up looking ridiculous. You would think that she would’ve gotten one of the best stylist since she is the bride. So I can only imagine how the bridesmaids hair would’ve turned out. The salon only has one type of foundation. So her face ended up looking at oily after an hour. The slide told her that she could bring in her own make up . Then she might as will just do her own make up. A complaint was made to the owner Dave. He stated that it is difficult to duplicate a hairstyle. I included a picture of the hairstyle she wanted and a picture of the hairstylist taking a picture of the style she ended up with. It definitely is not worth $107!
