Overall Feedback:
This was the absolute worst house I have ever rented. Horns Haven. Sun Surf Realty had been warned about this property before and still represents the owners and rents it. It was unsafe (previous renters have already posted this) in total disrepair (previous renters have already posted this) and most of all it was unsanitary. We spent the whole week killing flies and vacuuming. Hundreds if not thousands were in the house upon arrival and housekeeping told us they would go away with the dehumidifier running. They did not. The entire downstairs was unusable. Absolutely disgusting. We contacted the realty during our stay, as we were leaving, by email numerous times and by phone numerous times. Basically we have been ignored. I’m sure the home could not pass a safety inspection. The deck is rotted. There were nails sticking up everywhere. All the umbrellas and half furniture broken. There were holes cut into the sheetrock in every room of the house. They were taped and covered with plastic. Most of the cabinets were duck taped to cover peeling laminate. The refrigerator shelves were broken and lying on the floor. The ice maker was not working. There was a rusted spiral staircase that no one tall, wide, old or young could use. I could go on and on. This was not the house in the pictures. I’d post the ones I took if I could.
