Got a website quote from this guy through a friend for my small business and I specifically told him I wouldn’t be ready til near the end of the month. It is now the end of the month and I was not ready to go ahead yet so he tells me the quote was only for starting now and not later however I have the full contract and it doesn’t say that anywhere. He was asking for 5500$ For a buyback website and that’s a lot of money to shell out but a fair quote . After badgering me the whole month on payment ... keep in mind I said I wouldn’t be even ready for the project until near the end of the month I answer him on the final day of the month which is today and let him know that money is right and I am not able to go ahead with the website as planned. His reply was “One condition on doing that website for the price I quoted you was you doing it right away. That price quote is no longer valid. You will be paying my full rate in the future.” but it does not say that in the contract anywhere . Hence the reason for a contract. Needless to say I would not recommend this guy to anyone unless you are looking for a very rushed non personalized experience. He is a good communicator for the most part . But when we met up earlier in the month for the first “consult” at a coffee shop he hardly had anything ready . Just a basic contract not even tailored to my website with dates from january 2018 , he did not show me his portfolio,any of his work or any websites like the one he would be making. Overall I don’t doubt his ability to make a website !I do not like his customer service skills he is very rude and literally expected me to start the project when he was ready and not when I was ready. We never got started on my website and never will .
