Chicken Special is what I ordered. My chicken was very dry that I could not cut it with my knife and fork! My rice was cooler than room temperature. The staff was nice but since my husband had order a sandwich and was half way done there was no time to get my order corrected. I do not think we'll be returning, due to my sister steak was so tough she didn't eat any of it and it was her birthday!

The food here is fantastic. The strawberry lemonade is great. Outside when the weather isn't too hot or humid is great. They're really nice folks. Spend your money here and eat local.

It may be healthy, but it's also REALLY good! I haven't had anything I would not recommend here. My go-to is the veggie quesadilla with chicken added, but the Pepper Patch salad with steak added and the white bbq sandwich are close seconds (and those two can be conveniently combined). I crave UC and I adore the handy online ordering and drive thru pick-up. I have experienced a longer than expected wait before, but the management has never failed to recognize issues before they are pointed out and more than make up for them, even though the food does, anyway. I hope we get more of these in town, namely one that is close enough to me to deliver. But, even if they don't, I'm still sold. Even my nine year old daughter loves it, down to the veggie straws, despite the fact that it's healthy. I highly recommend the food, convenience, and always friendly, very knowledgeable staff!

Definitely one of my favorite places to get a quick bite to eat and enjoy some delicious fresh food! Employees are always in good spirit and definitely makes the experience that much more enjoyable. If I were their boss, I'd buy them all puppies, because who doesn't want a dog in their lives? But cats are cool too!

Urban Cookhouse never disappoints. Tasty choices made with locally grown fruits & vegetables are always delicious. Try the Turkey Crunch or the veggie quesadilla. Two of my favorites!
