Condo insurance was confusing to us. Three policies - condo, owner and flood - all provide a portion of our coverage. Because of navigating among policies we wanted one broker to handle all three. Heist Insurance had the policies for the previous owner and we continued coverages. When we called to meet and discuss appropriate coverages or have called with requests, they have been both competent and prompt. That's worth 4 stars. Five stars would take being proactive beyond just news letters and surveys. For instance, calling us when we switched the policy to our name and offering to explain the ins and outs of a two owner condo and its coverages. Still, no complaints on service or product.

The customer service staff is nothing short of "exceptional" in all my interactions with them. I became aware of Thomas Heist Insurance as an independent contractor. I was impressed with the staff -- many of them were long time employees and they all liked their jobs. They were all very friendly. I was equally impressed with the appearance of the offices. Based on that, I switched my insurance to Thomas Heist. Why not give my business to an employer that respects his employees? It was a win-win because my premium was significantly reduced.
