We had the distinct pleasure of welcoming Christina Van into our school to be our local expert in a community branding project. Fifty-eight Grade 8 students were engaged in a learning opportunity that had them consider the role of identifying and meeting the needs of the client as well as the design process. Christina showed up very well prepared with examples, knowledge, and stories to share with an eager (and loud!) bunch of kids. I feel this speaks volumes to the values of a company like Twin Creek Media. After reaching out to over a dozen marketing and branding agencies in Kelowna, they were the only one ready and willing to take their time to share their expertise. How can we teach our kids the importance and value of community, if we don't engage with our own? We can't thank Christina and Twin Creek Media enough!
