The United States Military Academy visitor's center is the gateway to West Point. Renovations are nearly complete to the center and the new design offer spectacular views of the Hudson. Non-military personnel visiting USMA can obtain a visitor's pass here and gain entry onto the grounds of the military academy. It is an active duty military installation, and requires increased security protocols for entry. Most individuals, families, and groups begin their visit to West Point at the visitor's center.

The new Visitor's Center excellently conveys the life of a cadet and what makes West Point special. The flow and quality of the material presented is well thought out and easily understood by those with no prior exposure to West Point. Worth a visit!

West Point Visitor Center closed 4:45 before last tour came back to center 9/30/2019 - very unfair!
