We just recently had our wedding at the Country Club and well the view was beautiful. Otherwise, I’d say that the service is poor. Ashley gives you multiple papers to complete regarding the setup for the reception, but she failed to mention that the staff doesn’t follow what they’re given. We were extremely upset when we saw that they moved the table numbers around to the clubs standards without checking with us. Therefore, my parents, grandmother and siblings were placed further from the dance floor; and so were his father and grandmother. The manager said the staff tried to rectify the situation, but that’s false. The other huge mistake they decided to make was when they served a food item with gluten to a guest with a severe allergy. If she hadn’t had a device to test food, we would have had a serious issue. But, don’t worry, the chef is specialized and doesn’t make these mistakes. Oh, but no worries, everyone had a great time so according to the manager these were just “minimal” issues. We originally booked this venue because my two siblings had theirs here, however, the service has change tremendously since and certainly not for the better. Would not recommend.

Course was amazing very nice and also had a burger at Ross tavern and it was amazing very good hospitality Dave from the pro shop stop at our table to see how we did and he hooked me up with the pga pro Jim Leblanc to get some lessons which I need but overall very good experience from the golf to the food

This may not be the most classically designed Donald Ross course, but the greens sure are. From tee to greens the course is well laid out with the only exception being the 16 hole which runs a bit close to 17. Other than that, the overall layout of the course is spot on. The greens are a story of their own. If you haven't had much practice on Donald Ross designed greens you are in for a ride. The greens are lightning fast and undulated regardless of how close you are to the pin. Always play under the pin as most of the greens are also sloped, but don't put to much spin because the ball will roll off as the greens also happen to be on plateaus This course is not for beginners but it is a whole lot of fun to play and admire. Even though the course was booked out and tougher to play than the courses I normally visit, I was able to walk all 18 holes in a little over 4 hours.

I was there last night for a graduation dinner. During the speeches theses 17/18 year old kids were making the waitresses started clearing the tables, which was extremely loud and disruptive to the speeches. Even after dropping a bucket of dishes right in the middle of a speech, they continued clearing tables. It was extremely rude and in my opinion degrading to the kids who im sure were already very nervous speaking infront of a croud. Then forced to speak very loudly over the sounds of clanging dishes. Only after a teacher got up and asked them to stop. I will never attened another event there and i really hope Clinton high school holds this dinner in another venue from now on.

I would rate this public course as perhaps the best in New England .The condition is impeccable and the scenery extraordinary , it should be on every golfers bucket list .
