I wish I could leave two separate reviews for this company. The first review would be for the actual tour itself, which was given by Gerry, an experienced, personable and knowledgeable guide. The tour was exceptional because of her. This is not an open campus where you can simply wander around and it has a great deal of history which she imparted clearly and with passion. I highly recommend the product West Point Tours is selling and would clearly give it five stars. At the other end of the spectrum was the pre-tour customer experience. They want you to make your reservations online at their website, which is fine, except that for some reason they stop taking reservations at noon on the day before the actual tour. Good luck trying to reach a live person. I tried several times and was unable to do so. What was even more unforgivable was that the company did not return any of the three messages I left, so that I could be sure to buy tickets for today's tour. I would give their customer service zero stars. In sum, my message to the consumer is to take this tour and see this beautiful campus, but reserve early online, or by no later than noon the day beforehand, because they don’t value customer service, don’t return calls, contrary to saying they’ll do so, and in the end you’re unlikely to receive customer service from a human being.
