Excellent resource and prompt reply, but some of your male dispatchers could use some sensitivity training. People who call in are often going to be upset or panicked for various reasons, speaking with calm gentleness INSTEAD of stern authority when this happens would go a VERY long way for both the dispatcher and the citizens they serve. I do not seem to ever have this issue with the female dispatchers, but almost always with the male ones. Barking at or talking over someone who experiencing a situation which causes them panic or upset, which these situations that are reported often will, is NOT helpful and will not help calm the person on the other end, or help you get the info you need any faster. Thank you for all you do!
